The sense of ethics and law schools
Main Article Content
Abstract
Considering that ethical sense frames the lives of our students and future lawyers, law schools should be the place where ethical sense originates, develops, and takes form. However, reality differs from ideals and desires of beginners in this profession. They witness the usual transgressions of the principles taught in the academy, leading them to conclude that theory can be very different from practice. The philosophy behind ethical sense loses its flavor, causing to forget the meaning and value of what is essential. The practice of law clashes with personal and even constitutional principles.
